Berdy and Gerd were two successful brothers. Berdy was successful because he was a smart guy. And so he worked. Smart. Gerd was successful because he was disciplined and worked hard.

Each one of them got a huge bucket filled with water. They needed the water. But there was a small crack in each bucket. So the water kept pouring out of the buckets at a steady rate. There was no way to carry away the buckets because of their big weight.

Gerd tried to keep the crack shut with his hands as long as he could. Almost 24/7. The water was running out very slowly. Still, it did not stop quitting the bucket as Gerd needed to sleep from time to time and his hands couldn’t cover the crack perfectly.

Berdy choosed another approach. At first he seemed to do nothing. He even went away from the bucket. But he was thinking. Thinking about how to shut the crack permanently. Eventually he found a solution and he then applied it. He found something that would cover the crack perfectly. And it worked. His bucket wasn’t leaking anymore.

The crack in Gerd’s bucket was fixed as well shortly after. Berdy fixed it.

Like all of us, I often experienced some kind of fear during my life. And most of the time, it pushed me hard. It somehow made me grow. Maybe fear has been the most important driving force for me.

But sometimes I wanted to get rid of fear. Completely. The idea of being free of negative emotions made me curious. Being free of all those unnecessary emotions ordinary people do experience. Being somehow independent of my own fortune. I thought this might be the kind of perfection I was searching for. So I took some time to think about it.

At first I thought that it might work. I thought that the absence of worries and troubles might come naturally if you become wise.

February 2010, that’s what happened:

• I posted 3 times.. Well, that’s not much, I know, but I got some private stuff going on.
• I wrote 2 exams and passed them both. So I think I’ll reach my goal of passing all of my exams.

I’ll have to post 8 times this month to reach my goal of posting 50 times till 31.03.10.

Well, february was a great month. I didn’t spend too much time with internet stuff though. So, let’s see what march will bring about.
